Your Responsibilities: 

• Architect, implement and maintain firmware modules in the field of IoT security

• Debugging of functional behaviour in cooperation with firmware test engineers

• Optimization of firmware modules for limited resource usage, low power consumption and security constraints

• Verification & validation of firmware including test implementation and execution

• Strong cooperation with hardware development

• Documentation for external functional & security certification schemes

 

Your Profile:

• University degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related discipline

• Eager to learn, curious and open-minded

• Strong programming skills – you love to code

• Fast thinker and able to quickly adopt to new standards/tools/protocols

• Willingness to contribute to architecture decisions

• Several years practical experience in embedded software development for microcontrollers

• Solid understanding of embedded software design and verification methodologies

• Solid understanding of (32-bit) microcontroller architectures and digital hardware

• Experience in embedded programming languages (C, Assembler)

• Experience in working in multi-site, multi-national setups

• Knowledge of IoT cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus

• Knowledge of embedded security aspects (Cryptographic algorithms, TrustZone) is a plus

• Familiarity with other languages is a plus (Python, Groovy)

• Familiarity with object oriented programming is a plus
