Lafayette Animal Hospital is actively looking for an Experienced Veterinary Technician. We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Veterinary Technician who is confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, has experience with x-ray and proper positioning, understands the importance of client education, and is a supportive and positive team player. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and growing and Lafayette Animal Hospital encourages its staff to do the same. Pay Range: $20 - $26 (based on experience)

Hours: 30 - 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• 2+ years in the veterinary industry (preferred)
• Knowledge of basic industry tools and equipment
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Believes in the importance of client education
• Compassionate toward our patients and clients
• Motivated to learn new skills
• Positive and supportive team player

Lafayette Animal Hospital is a fast-paced hybrid clinic that offers general practice services along with urgent care and emergency care for our patients. We are open from 8-6 Monday through Friday and 8-2 Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays.
