What impact you’ll make: 

 

As a member of the Power Operational Controllership team, you will be an active contributor to the Rest of Power Intercompany team. The Rest of Power Intercompany Lead is responsible for managing and overseeing the intercompany governance functions within the organization. This role ensures the efficient and compliant handling of intercompany transactions, optimization of intercompany processes, and alignment with corporate governance standards. The Intercompany Governance Leader will work closely with the finance and treasury teams, other departments, and external partners to maintain financial integrity and support strategic decision-making.

 

What you’ll do  

 

Intercompany Governance Framework: 

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining the intercompany governance framework and policies. 

  • Ensure alignment with corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements. 

  • Identify process improvements and streamline intercompany operations. 

  • Coordinate with MSP to eliminate all aged open Intercompany balances (including ACA – Equity). 

  • Ownership and clear understanding of Intracompany cash movements (composition and movements) on monthly and quarterly basis. 

  • Understand all Intercompany related open balances and track long standing issues with clear ownership and timeline. 

  • Participate in Account Reconciliation Quality review process. 

  • Partner MSP resources to make sure timely and accurate Account reconciliation completeness within reconciliation cycles. 

Transaction Management: 

  • Oversee the accurate and timely processing of intercompany transactions (e.g., loans, equity transfers, service charges). 

  • Ensure proper documentation and recording of intercompany transactions in compliance with accounting standards. 

  • Manage intercompany reconciliation processes to ensure balances are accurately reflected. 

Compliance and Audits: 

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations related to intercompany transactions. 

  • Coordinate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. 

  • Address audit findings and implement corrective actions. 

Stakeholder Collaboration: 

  • Collaborate with global finance teams, legal, tax, and other stakeholders to ensure intercompany transactions are executed efficiently and compliantly. 

  • Liaise with external partners (e.g., banks, vendors) to resolve intercompany-related issues promptly. 

Risk Management: 

  • Assist in identifying and assessing risks associated with intercompany transactions. 

  • Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies. 

  • Monitor intercompany exposures and provide regular reporting to senior management. 

Team Support: 

  • Support the supervision and mentoring dedicated resources at MSP. 

  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. 

Technology and Systems: 

  • Assist in evaluating and recommending intercompany management software and tools to enhance efficiency. 

  • Ensure the integrity and security of intercompany-related data within financial systems. 

Reporting and Analysis: 

  • Prepare and review intercompany transaction reports and analyses. 

  • Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making. 

 

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications) 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent knowledge or experience.

  • Significant experience in finance or treasury, with a focus on intercompany transactions and governance. 

  • Proven experience in managing intercompany transactions. 

  • Rest of Power business understanding/experience is strong advantage. 

  • Fluent English knowledge is essential.

  • Strong knowledge of intercompany governance principles and practices. 

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 

  • Proficient in financial systems and intercompany management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle). 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
