About Our Team:
The Digital Technology Product Management Group Manager is a position within the digital organization that works on providing the best Digital experience for consumer banking customers, including working with business partners to understand strategic objectives and create a roadmap the team can rally behind.
This position will manage a team of US based product owners who deliver best-in-class digital experiences, create partnerships within the organization and make data driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall vision, long-term strategic view, technical capabilities and roadmap of the digital product platform in his/her category/division. Clearly communicate goals, and desired outcomes throughout the company.
Lead a team of Product Managers and engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and develop innovative financial platform products
Accountable for end-to-end implementation of digital products and experiences – this includes execution strategy & planning, ideation, designing the end-to-end customer journey, gathering and grooming requirements, securing stakeholder buy in and Governance approvals, conducting post-release analysis
Primary interface with the Business and stakeholders, builds strong partnership with them to help drive strategic direction and investment decisions, shape business and product requirements into platform requirements while maintaining synergy with technology, operations and risk partners.
Compiles content for periodic Exec level communications, reviews and updates
Understands domain and competitive landscape; may lead strategic and technology decision making for the platform product domain
Inspires a culture of “test and learn” experimentation and innovation to solve core business and end customer needs
Leverages customer research, feedback, competitive analysis and industry trends to drive investment choices that will cultivate long-term innovation for the business and customer.
Creates a comprehensive user experience for an entire customer domain using various design thinking techniques
Define and track scorecard KPI's for data driven decisions to features and strategy. Reviews them regularly with technology peers and business partners.
For any issues, communicates to Sr. Management; assess the alternatives to resolve (“path to green”) and builds a plan for resolution; makes recommendations that will meet the goals and may directly implement resolution plans
Make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market
Develops method for prioritization and triage of new changes and defects for team to apply, makes key decisions on showstoppers and end product quality
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Product Management
Experience with end-to-end implementation of Digital experiences
2+ years of experience in Digital Payments technologies is a big plus
5+ years leading and managing technology teams. Demonstrated interpersonal and talent management skills, including the ability to identify and develop product management talent.
First-class influencing skills to build support in other groups, including with senior leaders across Business, Technology and Risk functions
Capacity to develop and maintain comprehensive set of business plans and financial models. Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
Has thrived and succeeded in delivering high quality technology products / services in a high growth environment where priorities shift rapidly.
Ability to think strategically but stay on top of tactical execution
Excellent product and platform instincts and communication skills coupled with a passion for business, technology while delivering a world-class customer experience
Demonstrated track record managing all aspects of a successful software or technology product or platform throughout its lifecycle, including product strategy development, customer insights/needs, and requirements definition
Data-driven analytical skills, extensive experience with data/reporting tools
Able to operate and thrive with partial information and ambiguity and have a track record of building successful teams
Self-starter with the ability to define goals and strategies with minimal management oversight
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree
Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$169,600.00 - $254,400.00
