HR Operations includes work across multiple administration areas for established HR and rewards programs including:
•HR employment issues (hiring and termination processes and labor law issues, contract renewals and dismissals, trainee programs, expatriates, control/process of retirement, etc.)
•Personnel records maintenance (job history, retirement and insurance documentation, leave accrual records and details of illness, absences, transfers, and salary progression, etc.)
•Statistical reporting to internal management (employee demographics, skills inventory, absenteeism, overtime, employee turnover) and external agencies (e.g., government agencies, insurance companies, unions etc.)
•Rewards program implementation and administration (e.g., compensation administration, employee benefits administration, etc.)
•Recruitment and selection (e.g., briefing meetings and feedback with hiring managers, CV screenings, candidate feedback, offers, etc.)
•May be accountable for selecting and managing HR outsourcing vendors"

Requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education. May require the following proficiency:
• Works under limited supervision for routine situations.
• Provides assistance and training to lower level employees.
• Problems typically are not routine and require analysis to understand.

About the role:

To ensure full assistance in all hiring and recruitment activities and support delivery of demanded headcount for Operations roles in Slovakia plant. To provide a variety of services necessary for hiring, administration and employment relationships, preboarding and onboarding phase of newcomers. 

This role is part of the global community of the European CBS (Convatec Business Services) Talent Acquisition team with direct impact on Slovakia location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist in execution of local hiring process with focus on Operations roles

  • Work closely and assist to Talent Acquisition CBS Team and local People Partners

  • Administration support in posting of job adverts via HR system and job portals/ web pages

  • Screening applications and delivering a great candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment process, maintaining a high level of communication and delivering timely feedback.

  • Shortlisting CVs for your hiring managers, to support hiring the best diverse talent

  • Coordinating the selection process from interviews and assessments to feedback; 

  • Maintain accurate candidate data in all recruitment systems according to GDPR and proactively generate recruitment reports. Analyse reports, data and talent insights to inform recruitment strategies.

  • Develop and implement highly effective sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles utilizing job boards, social media, networking and other advanced search methods.

  • Participation and administration support at interviews and assistance in assessment / testing of candidates administration support in

  • Informing and communication with candidates about final selection decision and sharing the feedback

  • Constant assistance/ support of superiors/ hiring managers with HR system processes 

  • Documentation and contracts preparation for newcomers

  • Occupational health preventive medical checkups assistance – as part of precontractual employment relationships

  • Assistance in scheduling all the entry medical check-ups for hired candidates and direct communication with selected candidates

  • Communication with Occupational health provider on outcomes of checkups and based on results scheduling the contract signature

  • Assistance in onboarding programs for Operations employees

  • Any further assistance for global TA team and local HR and LT team

  • To ensure compliance with the legislative and internal requirements of the EHS and to participate in the fulfillment of the company's targets in the EHS area

Qualifications/Education:

  • Internship in HR/TA area (is advantage) - the position is also suitable for a fresh graduate from university – area of Human Resources, Economy field, or Social affairs

  • Experience with work in HR department and hiring process - is advantage

  • Experience with work as an assistant in a production company - is advantage

  • Knowledge of recruitment/ hiring process, HR processes, SK Labor Code- is advantage

  • English level B2 as a minimum

  • MS Office

Preferred training requirements:

  • Introduction training for administrative employees

  • Quality System documents and procedures relevant to all employees (local and Convatec corporate e.g. Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Quality Policy, Complaints, relevant GxP documents), including regular re-training when required

  • Quality System documents and procedures relevant to job performance

  • HR System processes training

  • Local HR training procedures

  • Local Recruitment policy

  • Local Job Description Process policy

  • Local Organizational Structure Chart policy
