Job Description

Ready to make an impact?

Our mission is simple: We make journeys easier and more enjoyable for our customers. We want to lift their spirits by delivering little boosts along the way.  We care about our people and our communities, and we look for ways to uplift people first. Wherever your journey’s going, we can help you get there.

Behind that experience is a high-performing commercial engine. And that’s where you come in.

Student Assistant – Global Sales & Commercial Excellence

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

Ready to move beyond theory and into real commercial impact?

As a Student Assistant in our Global B2B Sales & Commercial Excellence team, you won’t be making coffee or updating spreadsheets for the sake of it. You’ll be embedded in strategic transformation initiatives that shape how we sell, scale, and create value across markets.

From day one, you’ll work on real commercial challenges: You’ll help to define global best practices, support sales strategy development, and strengthen our position as a trusted partner to Business-to-Business customers.

This is your opportunity to build serious commercial expertise while still in school.

If you’re ambitious, analytical, and curious about how large-scale commercial operations work, we would love to meet you.

What you’ll do:

  • Turn data into insight and execute commercial excellence projects
  • Identify and document global sales best practices to support our transformation journey
  • Analyze performance gaps and quantify improvement potential across markets
  • Support the development of materials for strategic decision-making and executive communication
  • Contribute to strengthening our “Total Cost of Mobility” value proposition
  • Collaborate across functions and geographies in a truly international setup across EU and US

You’ll gain exposure to strategy, analytics, operations, and commercial execution.

What we’re looking for:

  • Currently pursuing a master’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, Sales, Strategy, or similar
  • Strong analytical mindset: You enjoy solving complex problems with structure
  • Commercial curiosity: You want to understand how businesses grow and compete
  • Self-driven and proactive: You take ownership and follow through
  • Toolbox 101: You should be comfortable working with PowerPoint and Excel (you don’t have to be a wizard, but you should be confident)
  • Fluent in English
  • Available 15–20 hours per week

Bonus points if you:

  • Bring previous experience from Commercial Excellence, Consulting or Sales
  • Have experience with Customer Relationship Management tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Have experience with Project Management Software (e.g., MS Planner, Jira, Asana, etc.)
  • Know how to apply AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to solve complex business problems

Important:

Even if you don’t match all the above, we welcome your application if you believe you have transferable skills. We value the right mindset. Motivation, initiative, and a willingness to learn are just as important to us as specific experience.

Why this role is important:

  • You work on global transformation for a global player
  • You collaborate with senior commercial leaders
  • You gain hands-on experience that makes your CV stand out
  • You join a team that values ambition, ownership, and learning

Alimentation Couche-Tard is a proud recipient of the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award (GEWA) for three consecutive years.  We take culture seriously.

Perks:

  • You will work in our newly renovated office in Borgmester Christiansengade 50
  • Work is generally conducted in person, but we offer flexibility around exams
  • You’ll be able to work out in our office gym and participate in our yearly Ping Pong and Football tournaments

Our culture:

At Circle K, our culture is shaped by the people who work here and how we treat each other. Our guiding principles influence how we lead, collaborate, and make decisions. We’re offering a social environment where well-being and performance can coexist.

If you’re driven, curious, and ready to contribute, you’ll fit right in!
