Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Supply Base Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Mesa, AZ.

Position Responsibilities:

• Facilitates Apache Production and Supply Chain business relationships
• Develops and participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program, and commodity strategies
• Analyzes and monitors supplier delivery performance and identifies risks, issues, and opportunities
• Cross collaborates and participates in part shortage mitigation plans
• Participates in supplier and business improvement activities

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift (start time 5:30am Arizona Time)

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• More than 3 years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
• More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
• More than 3 years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 3 years of experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
• Experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment
• More than 3 years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: $88,400 - $109,200
