Job Description​

Saint Luke’s Outpatient Rehab in Kansas City is seeking a Administrative Assistant to join our team. You will work to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances, while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct. 

Shift Details: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm, No Weekends

Responsibilities: 

• Answers the telephone 

• Communicates messages through email or Epic  

• Greets, registers, and schedules patient appointments  

• Collects patient copayments  

• Makes appointment reminder calls  

• Verifies insurance and other patient data is accurate  

• Scans and/or uploads patient information to patients electronic chart 

We are seeking individuals who are able to provide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office including: medical records, scheduling, insurance verification, patient referrals, etc.
