The Event Operations Department is looking for college students or recent graduates looking to further their experience in the sports industry. Must be available to work all (14) home gamedays (season runs March-November) and non-traditional hours that include evenings, weekends, and holidays (not guaranteed to work all games). Gameday assistants may also have the opportunity to work ACFC events outside of gameday. 

 

Qualifications:

• College student or recent graduate
• Passion for women’s sports 
• Ability to multi-task, maintain focus, and work effectively with clear communications in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to professionally communicate and interact with all levels of management, staff, fans, children, players, VIP’s, etc.
• Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with minimal direct supervision
• Personable, proactive, creative, and innovative team-player who believes in the mission, vision, values, and goals of Angel City FC
• General willingness to jump in, support other gameday team members, and help wherever necessary 
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, carry and lift up to twenty (20) pounds and extensive walking around the stadium as needed

 

Gameday Duties: 

• Assist with the physical set-up, production, and tear-down of ACFC signage, gameday elements, and stadium operations equipment
• Support general gameday operations including parking assistance, staff catering, concourse activations, and pre/post-game experiences
• Assist with executing Street Fair/Fan Fest responsibilities including set up, production, and tear down of ACFC activations including serving as liaisons with vendors, performers, partners, and activations
• Assist with facilitation of group and fan experiences, including sold gameday experiences, meet & greets, and VIP guests
• Ensure optimal fan experience and smooth operation by supporting ACFC staff with tasks as needed
• Organize, coordinate, and maintain a detailed credential/wristbands spreadsheet
• Responsible for resolving issues promptly as directed by the ACFC team
• Facilitate a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees
• Perform other duties as assigned

 

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

 

Pay: $17.28 per hour

 

Work Location: BMO Stadium and Santa Monica Office
