Job Description:

 

HITT Contracting is seeking a passionate and dedicated associate-level recruiter to join our expanding team and provide greater national support. This role will be based out of our Los Angeles, CA regional office and will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting and management of all candidates throughout the interview and selection process for our West Coast offices as well as other regional offices as needed. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-performance environment and takes great pride in ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience. This role reports directly to the Senior Recruiter at HITT Contracting.

Responsibilities 

  • Manage full life cycle recruiting efforts, from sourcing through offer, for positions across HITT’s 14 office locations, primarily focusing on our West Coast business units in Los Angeles, Santa Clara, San Francisco, and Seattle.
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to determine staffing needs and appropriate job descriptions.
  • Initiate requisitions in Workday and determine applicable posting based on skill, position, and location.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of candidate engagement throughout the entire recruiting and selection process.
  • Conduct reference checks as needed.
  • Advise management on competitive employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt positions.
  • Capture and manage all candidate activity in the Workday Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as job boards (LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc.), social and professional networking, outreach, and diversity recruiting efforts.
  • Assist Recruiting Manager to develop and implement strategies to identify, attract, and hire highly qualified team members, as well as build an on-going talent pipeline and enhance our employer brand.
  • Execute both verbal and written offer letters.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers and business leaders with consistent and timely communication to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
  • Sell HITT’s culture and employee experience and communicate important employment information during delivery of employment offers (i.e. benefits, compensation, bonus eligibility, etc.).
  • Guides hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations and ensures EEO/OFCCP fair hiring practice compliance
  • Assist in the new hire onboarding process by providing required data.
  • Assists in collection and compilation of various recruiting metrics for the Recruiting Manager.
  • Act as a resource on talent acquisition topics for colleagues and hiring managers across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of professional recruiting/talent acquisition experience; 1+ years in construction preferred
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • Ability to work with different personality types
  • Experience with ATS & job board platforms; Workday experience is a plus
  • Experience in EEO, FLSA and OFCCP regulations as related to recruiting & hiring Experience in an in-office work environment.
  • Strong teamwork and collaborative skills
  • Able to prioritize and manage competing demands while being adaptable and flexible
  • Experience with MS Excel and Word products
  • Proven experience and usage of Boolean logic

In accordance with California’s Labor Code Section 432.3, the base salary range for this position is:

$73,700.00 - $95,700.00

Compensation in other cities and states may vary. HITT Contracting offers a competitive total benefits and compensation package including performance-based bonuses, premium health care coverage including vision and dental, employer-matched 401(k), wellness reimbursement program, paid holidays and time-off, and other voluntary benefits and leave types. The determination of salary is based on the candidate’s individual professional experience, qualifications, education, skills, and training.
