We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Tech at MMC Corporate .This role will be based in Mumbai/Pune/Gurgaon/ Noida. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Principal Engineer - Applications Development - .NET Winforms

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated developer focused on .NET Development, well versed with C# ,WinForms, SQL, SSRS to fill a key role working on distributed team in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

What can You Expect :

• Processes requests through PMO with input from Business, Functions and OWG Director of Business Systems.
• Coordinates with other appropriate team members to ensure existing systems meet client needs.
• Assists in the documentation and implementation of solutions projected for the Company's long term goals.
• Focuses on continuous improvements to team and processes for maximum efficiency and value.
• Assists with the development of best practices and streamlined processes across the IT department.
• Follows processes and best practices as agreed to by department.
• Understands the Application Portfolio and aligns with long term goals.

• Proven expertise around design and development of large scale enterprise applications
• Good knowledge in database design and development using latest version of MS SQL Server
• DevOps model expertise with expertise in automating deployments and continuous integration
• Automated unit testing and Test driven development
• Strong understanding of implementing design patterns
• Working on Agile/Scrum development methodology
• Quickly learn new technologies, solve complex problems and be able to ramp up on new projects quickly.
• Communicate effectively and be able to review ones work as well as others with a particular attention to accuracy and detail.
• The candidate must demonstrate a strong knowledge on SSRS
• Investigate research and correct defects effectively and efficiently.
• Must have proven application development skills, excellent documentation and presentation skills, analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to identify needs and take initiative ​
• Strong working knowledge of software development life cycle process.​
• Understand design patterns, complete technical designs and review the designs of others.
• Ensure code meets specifications, quality and security standards, and is maintainable
• Complete work to prescribed standards and follow prescribed workflow process.

What you need to have: 

• We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated developer focused on .NET Development.
• Well versed with C#
• Demonstrable knowledge of SOLID principles.
• Strong knowledge of SQL development
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge on SSRS or other reporting tool.
• Familiarity with version control, preferably Git.  

Good to have 

• Knowledge of AWS services.
• Familiarity with CICD processes
• Knowledge of WinForms.
