In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and modify the standard designs of equipment, systems, or installations, including standard specifications for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction, using standard design concepts. Each day, you will design engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to contract specifications. You will also showcase your expertise by contributing to design reviews and design verification and modifying the design, as necessary.

The work model for the role is: hybrid.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Designing sophisticated electrical cabinets of excitation units for international projects
• Work with 3D CAD SolidEdge, PDM Compact PLM and SAP
• Cooperation with the international team of electrical engineers located in Czech Republic and Switzerland.
• Communication with ABB design team in Switzerland, emails and online calls on a daily basis.
• Communication with ABB production and external manufacturers (German language is an advantage).
• Occasional business trips to Switzerland and Pilsen.

• Secondary or University education in the field of mechanical or electrical engineering
• Suitable also for fresh graduates
• You are familiar with any of 3D CAD software
• English level at least B1
• You are able to cooperate in an international environment
• You are diligent and have a sense of responsibility
• You are willing to learn and study new and specific knowledge and skills
• Electrical knowledge is not necessary, we will teach you all what is needed
