Job Description Summary:

We are looking for a Test Engineer to help design and test Financial Services solutions for PayPal. At PayPal, we work together as small, collaborative teams. We’re passionate about code quality and we’re constantly finding new ways to perfect our processes and product. You will be a member of the Engineering team and will be working on products that are directly linked to PayPal’s vision of having a billion active users.
We work closely with our design, content, and product teams to build, test, and iterate on new solutions to customers’ problems.

We have dedicated teams to support our Continuous Integration, Quality and Release processes. All this results in your code being published at on a weekly basis

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform E2E test activities, working closely with developers, design and product owners on complex and innovative applications
  • Design and perform test plans for testing system back-end components, ensuring product’s quality and coverage.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites for web, ios and android .
  • Automate E2E scenarios using various technologies in native, web and backend platforms
  • Report on test progress and bugs found
  • Share knowledge with other team members .

  • REQUIREMENTS
  • Team player, agile, flexible, multi-tasking, passion for learning new areas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent analytics, problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Build tools, frameworks, and other infrastructure needed to support automation
  • Proactively create test cases for the known defects and integrate them into the automation suite
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision in a team to test, release rollout and support software applications for PayPal
  • Work with business units to crystallize business needs into product features
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills; ability to produce clear, concise communications and documentation
  • Strong automation experience with one of the following - Web automation or XCUITest for iOS  or Espresso for Android
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, CI/CD, GitHub & Atlasssian
  • Domain experience in Payment industry is an advantage

QUALIFICATION

  • Master’s or Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline or Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in automation and manual testing
