Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and utilize the agency management system to support employee benefits analysis, reporting, and client deliverables

  • Develop a foundational understanding of personal lines coverage

  • Support personal lines associates, service, and sales teams by shadowing client meetings and internal strategy discussions

  • Compile and maintain records to support the account management team

  • Gain exposure to the clients we serve and the industries they operate in, with an emphasis on benefits strategy and cost management

  • Learn about personal lines insurance carriers and vendors, including plan structures, funding arrangements, and reporting requirements

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program

  • Preferred majors include, Risk Management & Insurance, Acturarial Science, Mathematics, Business Management, or related fields

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Curious, motivated, and eager to learn about the insurance industry and grow professionally
