How you'll make an impact

  • Generating customer leads and collaborating with clients on both strategic and operational levels, actively driving and developing consulting products

  • Conducting studies and consulting projects for key players in the energy sector (e.g. distribution and transmission system operators, traders, producers, investment funds, industrial clients etc) to support them in addressing economic and sustainability-related challenges and leveraging the resulting opportunities

  • Developing digital tools to support grid operators in tackling the challenges posed by the energy transition

  • Supporting the strategy of the global Product Group “Power Consulting” in the area of “Digital, AI and Analytics” as well as the productization/modularization of the product and solution portfolio

  • Supporting the implementation of approved projects with the required resources

  • Preparing technical reports and conducting client meetings

Your background

  • Successfully completed Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Energy Technology (or equivalent)

  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage

  • Relevant experience in the energy sector, including work with regulatory authorities, industrial clients, utilities, and grid operators

  • Extensive software knowledge, including: C++, MATLAB, Simulink, Python, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerBI, PowerApps, and VBA

  • Experience with grid calculation tools such as NEPLAN, DIgSILENT, etc

  • Strong team player with an interest in working in an international environment

  • High quality awareness and strong customer and service orientation
