Summary: As a Test Automation Lead, you will be at the forefront of transforming testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement quality processes, tools, and methodologies that enhance control, accuracy, and integrity in testing. You will also focus on evolving predictive and intelligent testing approaches, leveraging automation and innovative testing products and solutions to drive improvements in quality engineering. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Advanced LoadRunner scripting (correlation, parameterization, dynamic test data) - Hands on experience with CI/CD integration for performance testing - Identifying bottlenecks and analyzing metrics - Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills using various APM tools - Experience of version control such as SVN/GIT/Nexus - Understanding system architecture (microservices, containers) - Assist in defining project scope assessments, estimation and planning, work breakdown and tracking of delivery against plan -Knowledge of Chaos Engineering and fail over and recovery for resilience validation - Designing NFT strategy for complex applications - Setting up test environments and defining performance SLAs - Analyzing production metrics to set baselines - Leading root cause analysis sessions with dev/ops teams - Creating reusable performance test frameworks Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Performance Testing Strategy. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with JavaScript, Python (Programming Language). - Experience in Shell scripting or Python for automation - Experience in SQL for database performance checks - Knowledge of containerized load generation (Docker, Kubernetes) - Good to have JVM/Tomcat tuning Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Performance Testing Strategy. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
