Airbus is looking for a Cloud Specialist to join in Bangalore, India, to design IS/IT Architectures, support feasibility studies & services on Cloud for PLM Foundations team

Qualification & Experience: 

• Graduate with 3-7 years of experience in Cloud Platform and DevOps development and Operational management of Cloud infrastructure.

• DevOps mindset (“you build it, you run it”, taking responsibility for your work, solving problems with automation, transparency, etc.)

• Experience in hosting, integration, storage, networks, and DevOps automation engineering 

• Strong development experience in a programming language such as Ruby, Python, JavaScript 

• Experience with automated configuration management technologies such as Puppet, Chef or Ansible 

• Experience with CI/CD methodologies, processes and tools, such as Atlassian products, Jenkins, etc 

• Strong experience with AWS Enterprise Cloud platform deployments at scale.

• Strong expertise in understanding the end to end deployment of complete web based applications on AWS cloud environment.

• Very Strong Experience in microservices architectural base applications using services AWS EKS, ECS, Fargate,Kubernetes and Openshift.

• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services like EC2, ELB, ASG, S3, Route53, Lambda and other application deployment related services.

• Strong on-hands experience in developing IAC stacks using Cloud formation and Terraform.

• Good understanding of software development life cycle and Devops tools like Github, Jenkins, SonarQube, CheckmarxOne, Jfrog Artifactory etc.

• Good exposure in understanding the complete cloud infrastructure and experience in deployment of applications on cloud environments.

• Willingness to take accountability of the whole cloud application infrastructure and be responsible for application availability.

• Experience in working with ITIL framework would be more preferable.

• Strong understanding of networking, systems architecture, and micro-services architecture. 

• Unwavering commitment to operational security and best practices. 

• Knowledge in understanding and development of infrastructure as a code (IaaC) tools like cloud formation or terraform.

• Experience with application orchestration and packaging (Jenkins, Bamboo, Packer, Artifactory, Nexus). 

• Working knowledge in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban projects.

• Willingness to work on Incidents/ change requests and problem tickets.

• Willingness to work on European shifts if required.

• Knowledge of other Cloud Service Providers like  Azure, GCP would be an added advantage

• Having experience on .NET Portfolio like IIS server configuration, Windows service configuration, cron job configuration would be added advantage.

• Knowledge and experience in MSSQL server configuration and writing SQL queries would be an added advantage.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Building & maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines 

• Developing automation test scripts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of deployment of applications

• Develop and implement integrated and automated DevSecOps capability for our applications

• Design and implement the automated infrastructure of the Airbus Public Cloud Platforms via highly-available, scalable, maintainable, monitored systems and services.

• Ensure the ongoing operational health and performance of the application cloud infrastructure.

• Routine maintenance of application health and optimizing the resource utilization.

• Implement container solutions taking into account IT security aspects

• Support problem solving and the operational availability  of the applications on Airbus Public Cloud Platform.

• Development of infrastructure as code stacks using technologies like CloudFormation, Terraform etc.

• Optimize resources utilization while guaranteeing applications performance and reliability 

• Own incidents, problems, changes related to the Cloud Services.

• Work in small and self-sufficient multi-disciplinary teams responsible for end to end product development

• This role will involve some travel for business from time to time and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
