ABOUT THE ROLE:

We currently have permanent full-time positions available for the postnatal floor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our supportive and dynamic Maternity Services team.

The Registered Midwife is responsible for planning and delivery of midwifery care to the woman and her baby, within a multidisciplinary team environment, working collegially with other health professionals. The Midwife is responsible for making decisions regarding patient care, to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

ABOUT YOU:

As a Registered Midwife your skills and experience will include:

  • Authority to practice nursing with AHPRA as Registered Midwife.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience.
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care.
  • Commitment to patient-focused care and teamwork.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Dynamic, lateral thinker.
  • Commitment to continued professional development.
