Job Description:

Compiles the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process. Works with all business functions to analyze actual results versus expectations and build accurate future expectations. Publishes monthly standard business performance reports and ad hoc analysis. Defines and implements standard work processes to gain efficient and accurate financial reporting. Performs financial results analysis to identify variations and trends that indicate possible exposures. Includes Financial Systems.

Job Requirements:

Month-End Closing

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, costs, margins, and expenses, comparing them against the forecast, budget, and prior year; as well as preparing the necessary explanations and action plans. • Prepare detailed analyses for the entire P&L at month-end closing. • Analyze and load/export data from the local ledger to the Hyperion (HFM) system. • Support month-end closing accounting activities. • Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and MX GAAP accounting principles. • Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reports to headquarters. • Consolidate information and KPIs for the finance area. • Analyze and reconcile any discrepancies between systems (HFM, Tableau, DW).

Forecast/Budget •

Actively participate in the preparation of budgets and financial projections for each of the company's business units at the management and board levels. • Consolidate the sales, cost, and expense budgets, as well as the company's balance sheet. • Prepare and upload forecast adjustments for both P&L and Working Capital in HFM. • Prepare executive presentations and analyses for country and regional leaders.

Day-to-Day/Ad-hoc •

Develop management reports: sales price evaluation, promotions, sales campaign analysis, product contribution margin analysis, invoicing, among others. • Interact with all areas of the company to gain greater control over operations, sales, and expense management. • Be a business partner with all commercial areas to gain product knowledge and provide information and tools to improve decision-making. • Prepare financial models, as well as valuation methods and project analysis, focusing on company growth and profitability. • Collaborate with internal auditors and assist with quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
