Senior Automation / RPA Developer

Steel Point Solutions is seeking to hire a Senior Automation/RPA Developer to join our team remotely.

 

Responsibilities:

· Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced automation and robotic process automation (RPA) solutions.

· Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.

· Develop and maintain scalable and efficient RPA workflows using industry-standard RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).

· Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers to ensure best practices in automation and RPA development.

· Integrate RPA solutions with existing systems and applications, ensuring seamless operation and data flow.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation and RPA implementations.

· Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in automation and RPA technologies, recommending improvements and innovations.

· Document automation processes, technical specifications, and user guides for deployed solutions.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.

· Provide training and support to end-users on RPA solutions and best practices.

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Certification in one or more leading RPA tools (e.g., UiPath Certified RPA Developer, Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional, Blue Prism Developer Certification).

· 7+ years of experience in automation and RPA development, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

· Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, or similar.

· In-depth knowledge of RPA tools and platforms, including hands-on experience in designing and deploying RPA solutions.

· Experience with integrating RPA solutions with ERP systems, databases, and other enterprise applications.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Ability to lead and mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

· Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.

· Must have a TS/SCI CI or FS poly

Preferred Skills:

· Advanced degree preferred.

· Experience with AI and machine learning integration in automation projects.

· Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.

· Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for deploying and managing RPA solutions.

· Experience supporting DOD or Intelligence Community customers
