What this role is all about

 

As a AI Solution Engineering Intern, you will support the development and delivery of conversational AI solutions for customers, working closely with experienced Solution Engineers and cross-functional teams. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, customer engagement, and innovation, giving you hands-on exposure to real customer use cases and modern AI-powered solutions. You will learn how technical solutions are designed, prototyped, integrated, and delivered to solve concrete business challenges. This internship is ideal for someone curious about technology, eager to learn, and motivated to grow long term at Infobip.

 

What you’ll do

• Support senior Solution Engineers in customer discovery sessions to understand business challenges and solution requirements  
• Document client needs and translate them into structured engineering briefs  
• Build and test conversational AI workflows using programming, prompt engineering, and platform tools  
• Assist with integrating conversational AI capabilities into customers’ existing technology environments  
• Help troubleshoot and resolve issues in deployed AI systems  
• Collaborate with Conversational Designers, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Implementation teams on solution delivery  
• Document reusable solution architectures, deployment playbooks, and best practices  
• Build knowledge of Infobip’s product portfolio, the conversational AI ecosystem, and industry trends  
• Contribute insights from customer use cases and deployment patterns to support product improvement  
• Support timely completion of assigned tasks, project milestones, and internal knowledge-sharing activities

What makes you a strong fit

• Final-year student in engineering, computer science, IT, or a related field  
• Availability to work min 30h/per week, ideally 40h/per week
• Availability to start internship May 18, with a valid student contract for the full duration of 6 months 
• Strong interest in conversational AI, solution engineering, and customer-facing technology  
• Basic programming skills and a hands-on, learning-by-doing mindset  
• Curious, proactive, and motivated to explore modern AI-powered solutions  
• Clear communicator who collaborates well across teams  
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written  
• Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable in a fast-paced environment  
• Strong motivation to join Infobip long term and grow within the company
