About the AI Studio

The AI Studio's mission is to find the fastest possible path to an autonomous supply chain. We're developing AI agents, learning systems, training models, and more to overcome the biggest challenges remaining in the global supply chain.

In short, we are having a lot of fun.

Your mission in this role

We’re looking for a Data Scientist (AI & Process Mining) to design and build AI agents, workflows, and analytical tooling that power the AI Studio’s products and prototypes. You will use process mining as a core analytical foundation to map the digital thread of global supply chains and help create an AI-native environment where decisions are guided by deep process transparency and intelligent reasoning.

This is a hands-on, applied role focused on working directly with event data, prototyping intelligent systems, and turning process insights into operational AI solutions.

Responsibilities

  • AI-driven process mining: Work with members of the team to find opportunities to use process mining artifacts as inputs to AI systems that reason about end-to-end supply chain behaviour. Identify where AI agents can meaningfully augment or replace manual analysis in supply chain behaviour.

  • GenAI-Augmented Reasoning: Explore and apply techniques at the intersection of process mining and GenAI, including LLM-based querying and reasoning over process graphs to support root-cause analysis and decision support.

  • Agentic prototyping and system design: Design, build, and iterate on AI agents and intelligent workflows that monitor execution, detect anomalies, explain deviations, and surface emerging risks from process data. Prototype end-to-end solutions from raw event data to AI-driven outputs validating ideas through rapid experimentation.

  • Collaborative Innovation: Collaborate with the team to turn complex process data into actionable, decision-ready intelligence, and experiment with new ways of operationalising insights in AI-first environments.

We want to talk if you

  • Are excited about AI-assisted tools and using them to interpret complex process behaviour.
  • Build and customise your own AI workflows —you prefer a "data-first" approach to problem-solving and you are not afraid of performing exploratory data analysis tasks
  • Have a strong interest in process mining concepts and techniques (e.g., process discovery techniques and their limitations, modeling formalisms)
  • Care about craft in your work, specifically the integrity and granularity of your process models to accurately reflect real-world supply chains.
  • Thrive in fast-moving environments where priorities shift
  • Are curious about why things work, not just that they work

Bonus points if

  • You have worked with process mining software (e.g., Celonis, UiPath)
  • You have foundational skills in Python (Pandas/PM4Py) and notion of SQL for processing data
  • You're familiar with supply chain, logistics, or operations domains
  • You have a side project that shows you can't stop tinkering
