Position Summary

The Analyst is a member of the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) Finance Operations Department.  The Analyst will play a critical role in helping to establish a new department supporting member-facing financial operations activities for Medicare Part D members utilizing the Medicare Prescription Payment Program (M3P).  The Analyst will provide support in one or more of the following areas: Cash Application, Premium Prioritization, Banking and Treasury, Client Escalations, Dunning, Good Cause Reinstatements, Reconciliations, Client Reporting, or Member Disputes. This role will serve as a mentor to junior members of the team and will be expected to help drive this new department forward to successful implementation and management of M3P.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-pressure, deadline-driven finance or operational environment.  You will work with colleagues across PBM Finance Operations, Treasury, Premium Billing, and have direct contact with account management teams and health plan clients.

This is a hybrid role that will require a partial on-site presence 3 days per week and can be located in Scottsdale, AZ, Northbrook, IL, Irving, TX, Hartford, CT, or Woonsocket, RI.  Additional CVS Health locations may be considered.


Required Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and be able to be highly productive in a dynamic and collaborative environment.  The ideal candidate will have the following experience/knowledge/ability:

  • 1+ year of professional experience in a customer service, billing, finance, accounting, or other healthcare operations role


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using SAP
  • Experience with bank lockbox check processing, and/or credit card processing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, Word, Visio, PowerPoint 
  • Well organized with the ability to effectively prioritize work 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Focused and thorough research skills 
  • Ability to handle high volume of work within defined turnaround times coupled with excellent quality 
  • Ability to effectively work within a team 
  • Flexible in adapting to change 
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and determine conclusions 
  • Ability to learn and apply increasingly complex concepts, policies and procedures 
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, organize time and workload 
  • Skilled in identifying and solving issues and recommending process improvements 
  • Ability to work successfully in a deadline-oriented environment 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.80

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
