Senior Sales Executive – Banking & Payments (CEE)

Role Overview

This is a pure new‑business (hunter) sales role focused on winning large enterprise banking clients across Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. Success in this role is entirely driven by the ability to originate, develop, and close new logo opportunities within Tier‑1 and Tier‑2 banks.

The successful candidate will bring a proven, demonstrable C‑level network within banks in the region and a strong appetite for high‑value, complex, long‑cycle deals in Cards, Payments, and Banking technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own new‑logo acquisition across Poland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia, with primary focus on Poland
  • Sell enterprise‑grade Cards & Payments solutions into large banks and financial institutions
  • Build and leverage existing C‑suite and senior executive relationships within banks to create pipeline
  • Drive complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement through contract signature
  • Develop deep understanding of each target bank’s political structure, buying processes, and vendor landscape
  • Independently generate opportunities
  • Represent the business credibly at executive meetings, industry events, and regional banking forums
  • Travel regularly across the region to meet clients face‑to‑face
 

Required Experience & Profile

  • Proven experience as a pure hunter in enterprise banking or payments sales
  • A verifiable C‑level network within banks in Poland and/or Czech Republic
  • Evidence of closing high‑value, complex deals (multi‑year, multi‑million ARR preferred)
  • Background selling into banks from vendors such as fintechs, processors, or core banking / payments providers
  • Strong commercial mindset — highly motivated by commission and results
  • Confidence, credibility, and presence to engage senior banking executives
  • Ability to operate independently in a greenfield territory
 

Language & Mobility Requirements

  • Polish strongly preferred (Czech also highly valued)
  • English required
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Poland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia
