What this role is all about
As an Account Executive, you will be a key commercial driver for Infobip in your region. You will focus on acquiring and developing High‑Touch clients, working with a defined target account list that includes both existing leads/clients and new strategic prospects.
Your mission is to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities, positioning Infobip’s CPaaS and SaaS solutions to solve real business problems for enterprise customers. You will manage the full sales cycle: from prospecting and discovery, through solution design and value proposition, to negotiation and closing — and then support the client throughout the first 12 months to ensure sustainable growth (NRR, cross-sell and upsell).
In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Presales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships, and others) to design the best solutions for your accounts and to execute your go‑to‑market strategy. You will be expected to maintain clean, accurate CRM data and use it to forecast, prioritize, and plan your pipeline effectively.
What you’ll do
Manage a portfolio of target accounts in your assigned territory (Tier 1 (B) in region), selling a subset of Infobip products and services directly or via partners.
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with existing and prospective key clients, against a focused target list.
Build tailored solution proposals that encompass all relevant aspects of Infobip’s applications and services.
Own the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
Participate in the development and delivery of a compelling value proposition that connects Infobip’s capabilities to measurable customer outcomes.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms, working within internal guidelines to close deals that make sense for both the client and Infobip.
Support and grow the client relationship during the first 12 rolling months, including NRR, cross-sell, upsell, and new acquisitions within the account.
Maintain a mature, strategic approach to account acquisition and development, focusing on long-term value rather than only short-term wins.
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders in your accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring overall account health.
Keep the CRM up to date with accurate, timely information on leads, opportunities, activities, and forecasts, enabling reliable reporting and planning.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and partners to drive deals forward, support events, and ensure seamless execution for your customers.
Contribute as a leading individual contributor, and as a team player, sharing best practices and providing informal guidance and support to colleagues.
Work on complex, non‑routine deals that require a mix of advanced commercial acumen, product understanding, and strategic thinking.
How success will be measure
Volume and quality of new opportunities generated (pipeline inflow in EUR).
Conversion of leads into qualified opportunities per quarter.
Identification and engagement of target customers in your market.
Accuracy of sales forecasts and new customer sales cycle time.
Number and quality of customer meetings and interactions.
Depth and effectiveness of collaboration with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Timely follow‑ups, including meeting minutes and updates in CRM.
Clean and accurate CRM data, kept up to date to support reporting and decision-making.
Effective planning of account strategy, resource allocation, and territory management.
