Your Responsibilities:

The position holds the responsibility to lead Specialty Care Business Unit, including Specialty Care, Oncology and Hematology & HIV or both marketing and promotional teams, as well as cross-functional team (indirectly). Provides strategic direction to maximize the value of current and future assets while building the specialty capability towards a biopharmaceutical company.

Reporting to the General Manager, this position is part of Argentina Leadership Team modelling GSK values and expectations, building a great place to work and establish a strong, efficient and sustainable performance culture is essential.

This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:

  • Develop the Specialty business strategy through initiatives that will ensure brilliant commercial execution, driving impact for business and patients.

  • Launch a world-class pipeline for Specialty Care, HIV, Oncology and Hematology.

  • Provide in-country support for new asset launches including market shaping, marketing mix, channel strategy.

  • Drive multidisciplinary team to have strong execution metrics leading to customer and patient impact.

  • Propose appropriate structure and operation model to enhance delivery.

  • Lead the team to build strong partnership and engage with local and global cross-functional partners.

  • Develop Specialty capabilities, effective measures to track progress, identify gaps and implement accelerated improvement plans.

  • Work closely with other BUs seeking for efficiency, best practices sharing and joint initiatives aiming for improved business performance.

  • Be a driving force for a culture evolution in the Specialty business model within the organization, among the direct team and the broad organization.

  • Be an advocate for simplification and accountability Cultural approach.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Management, Heath Care or equivalent.

  • Proven experience in management and leadership, including sales and marketing, within the biopharmaceutical industry in Specialty, Oncology and Hematology business.

  • 5+ years’ experience in leadership roles within the biopharmaceutical industry.

  • Written and spoken fluency in Spanish and English.

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Argentinian Healthcare systems.

  • Specialty market development experience creating new market opportunities.

  • Proven ability and credibility to influence change at the enterprise level to secure resources needed to build and support a new business capability.

  • Proven experience leading high performing teams.

  • Experience in leading and embedding cultural change at enterprise level.

  • High ability to lead, role-modeling capabilities to deliver cross functional projects within high complexity environments.

  • Strong business and financial acumen, as well as risk management mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MSc in sales, marketing or equivalent preferred.

  • Strong project management skills.
