We have a role open for a FP&A Accountant supporting the Building Construction Products (BCP) division.  In this role, you will be an essential partner and financial advisor to the Division CFO and  Senior Vice President of the division.  In this role, you will lead the monthly financial planning and analysis for BCP and quarterly/annual forecast process, as well as support the implementation of OneStream.

What You Will Do:

  • Accountable for monthly financial reporting and analysis as well as annual business plan and quarterly forecasts
  • Partner with the business through providing meaningful and timely insights & analysis to understand results and drive improved financial performance
  • Develop new tools and analytics to streamline financial analysis and provide enhanced decision support
  • Support ad-hoc analysis, executive level presentations, and various other reporting requirements
  • Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures providing guidance to others in the business
  • Drive standardization, simplification and efficiencies in finance processes

What You Have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail:  Understand the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high level of precision.
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
  • Financial Forecasting and Modeling: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques of financial forecasting and modeling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results.
  • Intellectual Curiosity / Courage:  Initiative to dig into the details and understand the “why” while connecting those details to the bigger picture and challenging the status quo where necessary.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors

Top Candidates Will Have:

  • Progressive Accounting or Finance related experience
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent

Additional Info:

  • This position will be located in our Cary, NC office
  • This role is a full time, Hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office
  • Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify
  • Sponsorship is not available
  • International and Domestic travel up to 5%
