Senior Estimating and Pricing Lead

The Government Estimating and Pricing team is seeking a Senior Estimating and Pricing Lead for the Production Extension (PEx) program to join our team in Everett, WA or Tukwila, WA. As a team lead for the Estimating and Pricing organization, you will lead a team of estimating and pricing specialists supporting the KC-46A program including, but not limited to, the acquisition of the PEx project as part of the Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers’ (MS&B) portfolio.

This team leader will be responsible for coaching, mentoring and training teammates in the estimating process while collaborating with other functional teams to deliver on-time, compliant proposals to our customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced time management skills and be able to navigate multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development of high value estimates ranging from highly complex or unique technical requirements through the design, build and support stages of the program

  • Oversee high value business proposals, evaluate and make recommendations based on requests for proposals

  • Substantiate estimates and assemble price proposals

  • Develop unique/highly complex pricing models

  • Devise long term data analytics strategy while performing complex analyses

  • Provide recommendations in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)

  • Assign, monitor and review daily work of teammates

  • Provide mentoring for development of junior analysts

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations (e.g. Estimating system manual, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA), Procurement integrity) relating to development of cost proposals in all phases from Request for Proposal through Contract Award

  • 5+ years of experience analyzing data and making recommendations

  • 5+ years of experience with creating executive level presentations using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • 5+ years of experience using strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Experience with developing labor basis of estimates, utilizing data-driven estimating approaches

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience collaborating across multiple functions and teams

  • 5+ years of experience preparing time, cost and labor estimates in support of United States Government proposals

  • 5+ years of experience preparing and presenting to executives, senior leadership, and external customers

  • Experience with pricing software, such as Pro-Pricer

Summary Pay Range: $131,400 - $160,600
