Job Overview: Procter & Gamble is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated attorney to join our dynamic Legal team in Mexico City. The Senior Legal Counsel will provide comprehensive legal support to our business operations, focusing on legal strategy and compliance across various areas, including commercial, labor, advertising, regulatory, digital, and privacy laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal support to our business operations, focusing on legal strategy and compliance across a spectrum of areas, including commercial, labor, advertising, regulatory, digital, and privacy laws.

  • Collaborate directly with internal stakeholders to creatively address legal challenges and effectively manage their legal requirements in fast-paced and evolving legal environments.

  • Engage with various functions within P&G and collaborate with members of our global legal division to ensure cohesive legal strategies.

  • Attend the office at least three days a week to collaborate with teams.

  • Adapt quickly to the culture of the organization as in-house counsel.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Degree from an accredited law school.

  • A license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

  • Excellent communication skills for internal and external influencing.

Hard Skills:

  • Versed in local legislation

  • Legal research

  • Knowledge in compliance

  • General digital acumen, including AI knowledge

  • 3-5 years of in-house counsel experience.

  • Proficient in English. (B2+)

Soft Skills:

  • Problem Solving

  • Teamwork

  • Communication

  • A mindset characterized by agility, flexibility, and a commitment to continuous growth

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferential.
