Software Development Manager(s)

The Software Development Manager(s) will plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects for electronic component company. Domestic travel 3-4x a year required for troubleshooting software installation and meetings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties may include: Lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions.  Lead the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and execution to deployment and maintenance. Lead coding and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve our strategic goals.  Collaborate with engineering managers, product managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and scope.  Manage team workloads and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.  Oversee the planning, executing and delivery of software project and ensuring alignment with business objection and timelines. Three-four direct reports including Software Engineers and MES Architect.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Microelectronic Engineering, or a related field
  • Two years of work experience as a Process Engineer, Software Engineer, or a related occupation.

Specific Skills: Background, education, or experience must include:          

  1. Python programming;
  2. Manufacturing environment and tools for electronics;
  3. Data report generation;
  4. Troubleshooting manufacturing equipment issues;
  5. Interacting with and modifying equipment user interfaces for electronics manufacturing;
  6. Data parsing, analysis, and database management;
  7. Metrology equipment metrics and data;
  8. Conducting internal and customer/stakeholder-facing project review and updates.

Physical Demands – Office and Manufacturing Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms pull/push; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment – 

Includes both a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and a shop environment, with exposure to high noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, nuisance dust, and skin exposure to chemicals used to run/maintain machines.

PPE-

May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, gloves, hair nets, masks, & clean-room frocks while adhering to the prescribed safety procedures.

The base pay is just one part of CelLink's total compensation package and is determined within a range. The pay range is designed to support your career progression as you learn, grow, and develop within your role. Your base pay range will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

$135,000$165,000 USD
