Capital Associate Program (CAP) - Full Time

At Capital Group, our mission is to improve people’s lives through successful investing. We invest in public companies and fixed-income securities around the globe and are challenged with bringing unique perspectives and long-term thinking to our research and decision-making.

CAP is an opportunity for early-career individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences to learn and contribute to this mission by gaining direct exposure to investment management. CAP is a highly selective global three-year rotational program with cohorts in Los Angeles, London, Singapore, and Hong Kong. The program is focused on developing the skills relevant for investment management roles.  Providing development opportunities through hands-on experience, structured training, and ability to work with and learn from experienced investors. Associates with exceptional performance and have successfully completed the program will be promoted to roles with our investment units or investment-related groups.

We look for candidates with a strong interest in investing, which can be demonstrated through: 

  • Academic studies.

  • Investment/finance related internships.

  • Extracurricular activities on/off campus, such as leadership roles with investment or finance clubs and participating in stock pitch competitions.

  • Regular one-on-one coaching with experienced CG investment analyst and CAP manager.

Who should apply?

Undergraduate or master’s students in their final year of study (non-MBA) and those with up to 1-year of related experience post-graduation are invited to apply.

When we hire for CAP, we look for potential. We’re interested in:

  • Highly curious, analytical, and critical thinkers with demonstrated interest in investing.  

  • Ability and ambition to learn quickly and grow from experiences.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate well with others.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
