This Project Coordinator for the College of Natural Science is coordinating key projects, managing shifting calendars, and supporting high-level operations. You'll streamline office logistics and serve as a trusted liaison across departments and facilities. From event planning to meeting documentation, your work keeps everything running smoothly and collaboratively.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate critical work processes and projects; provide office management assistance; manage complex and frequently changing calendars.

  • Handles sensitive and highly confidential information and documents with complete discretion; monitors mail (electronic and hard copy); identifies and properly directs documents.

  • Screens incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when possible.

  • Provides administrative support such as reports, database files, spreadsheets, agendas, and minutes for various meetings.

  • Responsible for maintenance of all supplies and equipment necessary for the department staff to operate.

  • Assists with University wide event planning and execution.

  • Primary liaison with Facilities (space planning, moves)

  • Records minutes of all department meetings.

  • Acts as primary liaison with all other departments and maintains relationships to ensure department is seen as collaborative and responsive partner.

  • Assists with annual assessment of the college.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted upon supervisor’s approval.

  • A minimum of 2 years’  experience coordinating and/or managing projects

  • A related industry certification is helpful.
