Job Description

Today, electronics and software are at the heart of the development of tomorrow's vehicles.

You will participate in an innovative project that aims to reinvent the electrical and software architecture of the vehicles of tomorrow.

Mission:

You will be an Foundation BSP/OS Expert, participate in the next generation vehicle architecture software platform development, dedicate to the BSP/OS development.

You will participate in BSP/OS designing, developing, integrating, debugging, testing for the new vehicle model with the team to ensure the foundation BSP/OS of the embedded system implement in vehicles.

Scope of action:

  • Integration, configuration, and generation of the AUTOSAR CLASSIC BSW
  • Enabling the software platform: knowledge of the AUTOSAR Data Model
  • Development, validation, integration, and system debug on target
  • Analysis and improvement of the efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources (partitioning, load balancing, real-time, and footprint)
  • Set up and maintain diagnostic, troubleshooting, and continuous testing tools associated with physical means
  • Coordinate debug sessions with developers, architects, and test engineers
  • Continuously enrich the test catalog by integrating feedback from system and vehicle test teams
  • Develop new tools/ scripts optimizing the use of hardware/software resources, facilitating and automating debugging steps
  • Follow up on anomaly processing
  • Master and apply the concepts of Continuous Integration (CI)/ Continuous Testing (CT)
  • Ensure compliance with Safety/ Cyber-Security/ Regulatory imposed within the software direction
  • All of these activities are paced according to the Agile SAFe method

Qualification requirements:

You have graduated from an engineering school or university with Bachelor’s degree or above and major in software specialization in industrial computing or embedded computing. Have at least 10 years of experience in low-level embedded software development (C, C++) with strong expertise and knowledge in automotive electronics & AUTOSAR framework. Have at least 3 complete vehicle models software developement experience.

You have mastered or have strong capability in the following areas:

  • Standard AUTOSAR CLASSIC
  • Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Real-time and multicore: task priority, partitioning, MIPS consumption, memory allocation
  • Debugging at a low level by Lauterbach
  • Software configuration management tool: GITLAB, JIRA, CODEBEAMER, IDE
  • Software language (C, C++, ARXML)

Skills in the following areas are a plus:

  • Fluent English communication
  • Software language (Python, CAPL, etc.)
  • CAN/FD / LIN/ Automotive Ethernet
  • Diagnostic tools (CANOE, CANape) and observability tools (XCP, Canalyzer, DLT, Wireshark)
  • Functional safety
  • ISO 14229/ ISO 15031
  • ISO 26262
  • Oscilloscope
  • SAFe Agile @ Scale methodology and environment

You have the necessary rigor and know how to work in an organized and transparent manner in a team. Your autonomy, your synthesis spirit, your analytical and your communication will be necessary for the position offered.
