DXC in Poland is located in two cities: Warsaw and Wroclaw.
Application Services Global Delivery Poland located in Warsaw, offers software development and maintenance services to DXC Technology customers all over the world. Poland Center focuses on Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence, Web Solutions, SAP R/3 and SAP BW implementation, Application Management, Quality Assurance & Testing, Business and Systems Analysis. We are currently looking for:
Job location: Warsaw or remote
The successful candidate will work within Data & AI practice and be mainly responsible for testing of a new solution delivered in cooperation with one of the international companies from the Infrastructure Services industry.
The successful candidate will work with a multinational team from Spain and Poland to test the initial setup and next development of GenAI model. The scope of responsibilities will focus on back-end testing –execution of functional tests - focusing on integration and API testing - to ensure product quality. Automation Tester will work on designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. The successful candidate will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts).
The successful candidate will work closely with customer, project managers, technical leaders, developers and other test team members.
You will be responsible for:
Functional testing: Extensive experience in designing, executing, and documenting functional tests to ensure software meets specified requirements.
Integration testing: Strong ability to conduct integration tests to validate interactions between various software modules.
Test automation: Proficiency in using automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) to streamline repetitive test cases and improve test efficiency.
API testing: Experience in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI to validate endpoints and ensure data integrity.
Test case development: Expertise in creating detailed, clear, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Performance and load testing: Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) to assess application stability and responsiveness under load.
Collaboration and communication: Strong ability to work closely with development teams to resolve issues and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Design, develop and execute automation scripts
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
Monitor debugging process results
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
We require:
University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
Programming Knowledge: good skills in Python, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code
Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with Pytest for creating automated test cases
Backend Testing Experience: Understanding of backend architectures and database interactions (SQL/NoSQL)
Knowledge of Azure – AKS
Knowledge of Docker
Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes
Very good written and spoken English
Solid problem solving and analytical skills
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
We appreciate:
