CACI is seeking a Naval Aviation Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) with experience and knowledge related to OOMA and OIMA Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS), Aviation Inventory Management System (AIMS), Navy eRetrograde Management System (eRMS), Priority Material Office (PMO), Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM), One Touch Support (OTS), and Microsoft Products (Excel, Words, and Access) at COMNAVSURFLANT, Norfolk, VA.

What You’ll Get to Do:

The SME will be a key contributor supporting training and readiness, including but not limited:

* Process inventory data from ASD and build AIMS records using Microsoft Access.

* Provide on board assistance during AIMS installation on DDG, CG, and LCS platforms.

* Troubleshoot and resolve AIMS database errors.

* Prepare and submit the Surface Aviation Pack-Up Kit (PUK) Pulse Point report via CMP.

* Assist with the reconciliation of PUK replenishments and NMCS/PMCS requirements. 

* Reconcile outstanding MOF records between ASD and AIMS to ensure both systems are synchronized.

* Provide feedback to the shipboard PUK Manager regarding shelf life, DEF to RO reports, and MOF status.  Additionally, recommend improvements to enhance the PUK range and depth.

* Investigate and offer recommendations to minimize AVDLR PUK stock and NMCS/PMCS carcass charges.

* Facilitate communication between warships, ASDs, and Squadron Maintenance regarding AVDLR surveys.

* Investigate missing AVDLR inventory and provide expert recommendations to resolve issues.

* Consolidate and reconcile ASD PUK RO quantities with the warship’s physical PUK inventory and AIMS data.

* Create and manage the AIMS battle rhythm for deployments. Monitor NIS and NC requisitions for deployed DDG, CG, and LCS platforms.

* Assist with PUK on-loading and off-loading event.

* Ensure the AIMS 2.0 training guide, SOP for the warship's PUK Manager, and CNSP/CNAP/CNSL 4420.2 series instructions are kept up to date.

* Create and conduct hands-on training sessions and PowerPoint presentations to instruct shipboard PUK Managers on AIMS, NALCOMIS, One Touch, range and depth relations, inventory management, shelf-life management, and eRMS.

* Provide technical guidance to supervisors unfamiliar with PUK processes and procedures.

* Conduct Supply Management Assessments for DDG, CG, and LCS platforms, and perform onboard pre-deployment assist visits.

* Prepare and deliver the weekly Fleetwide CASREP Review Report for senior decision-makers at COMNAVSURFLANT. 

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • US Citizen and an Active DOD SECRET security clearance

  • Ten (10) years of experience utilizing NALCOMIS (OIMA & OOMA), eRMS and AIMS, performing at U.S. Naval Aviation supply and maintenance activities.

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management or related business discipline is desired. In lieu of a degree, an additional eight (8) years of experience in Aviation Supply, inventory management, maintenance management and the functionality of NALCOMIS (OIMA & OOMA) and AIMS is acceptable.

  • Possess in-depth knowledge in Aviation O-level and I-level operational functions.

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of OOMA, AIMS, and OIMA functions. This knowledge must include the ability to identify the disconnected data.

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Naval Aviation supply and maintenance policies and procedures as outlined in the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) CNAFINST 4790.2 series.

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of ASDs PUK Standard Operation Procedures.

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of eRMS on carcass tracking.

  • Possess proficiency in Microsoft productivity tools (ex. Word, Excel, Access).

  • Demonstrable analytical and critical thinking.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • The ideal candidate would have experience obtained as a former U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Logistics Specialist with tours at/on Aviation Support Detachment (ASD), Aviation Squadron/Wing, DDG, CG, LSC.

  • Possess strong verbal and writing skills to effectively prepare and conduct briefings and individual and seminar training.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$56,000-$117,500
