As a Manager, you will be responsible for implementation of a service delivery model supporting assigned platforms through a predefined frame-work. The broad range of responsibilities include leading engineering and configuration teams, partnering with key stakeholders, both off-shore and on-shore, and delivering on the service level agreements. This includes monitoring on-going risks and providing resolutions, driving process improvements, resource planning & optimization and performance management. The role requires leading, managing and growing the platform assigned to the role

Role Responsibilities

• Lead a Team and own on-time Technical Delivery for the Projects assigned, with high quality.
• Develop and implement new software, maintain and improve existing software.
Ensure that software functionality is implemented with a focus on code optimization and organization. Recommend improvements to existing software programs. Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional, and technical teams.
• Work with a software development team and Service providers in a geographically distributed structure.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to Sr. Associates, Associates, and Junior Associates.
• Works independently on complex projects. Apply Agile methodology daily and follow Definition of Done (DoD) process for better quality by maintaining unit test, code coverage and integration test coverage.
• Knowledge of architecture design concepts, object-oriented design and techniques
• Knowledge of logical and physical database architectures and operating systems
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver results
• Strong communication skills with ability to interact with partners globally

Role Requirements

• 5-8 years of relevant software development experience with focus on leading teams to deliver technology focused projects
• 8+ years of total relevant years of work experience
• Must be a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficult technology challenges, with a can-do attitude

• Core Java
• Spring and Spring Boot
• API design and integration including REST, Soap, XML/JSON and Web API
• Experience in architecting applications in Java and related technologies
• Experience with object-relational mapping (ORM) and model-view-controller (MVC)
• design patterns
• Experience in developing on Windows Linux/Unix platforms
• Web and App server experience (Tomcat, Apache, WebLogic etc.)
• Experience in BASH/SSH scripting
• Experience with using latest engineering tools (eg. Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence,
• Git/Perforce)
• (desired) working exposure on Microservices framework and technologies
• Working exposure on Application Security concepts (SSL, OAuth etc.,)
