JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position:              Data Analyst - Sales & Trade

Division:              Established Pharmaceuticals Division -EPD

Location:             City Office - Karachi

Job Summary:

The role entails working closely with Sales & Trade Management to understand their analytics needs, focusing on essential metrics and KPIs, and providing actionable insights to the relevant decision-makers.

Also Designing & maintaining databases by analyzing collected data and interpreting data trends and patterns relevant to the function/ organization and create and maintain interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources (Internal & External).

Major Responsibilities:

• Streamlining data collection methods to create automated and easy-to-use dynamic formats/ templates pertained to Sales & Trade functions
• Proactively analyze data to answer key questions on what drives business performance and evaluate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity
• Create and maintain interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources (Internal & External)
• Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex datasets
• Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization
• Work directly with managers and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships
• Provide actionable insights to support Sales & Trade strategies
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver relevant insights
• Support the sales & trade teams with data-driven recommendations and performance metrics
• Attend team meetings including Business Reviews, Commercial Reviews, SPMs etc.

Education/ Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration /Mathematics /Statistics/computer sciences

• 2-3 years of experience in similar role; Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations

• Proficiency in data visualization tools ( MS Office, Power BI & SQL)
• Strong analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization
