Position Description:
Drives platform evolution by designing and developing resilient data infrastructure for 401k recordkeeping platform, including Oracle DB on Azure and Azure-managed services – Data Factory, Storage Account, and Azure Key Vault. Strategizes and builds Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) solutions, including configuration management and version control. Creates data driven business solutions using Oracle relational databases on Azure and data transformation Extract, Transform Load (ETL) frameworks using Shell Scripting, Control-M and Azure Data Factory. Evaluates new tools introduced at enterprise level by performing Proof of Concepts (POC) measured against complex use-cases, working closely with architects and enterprise level teams for testing and establishing common standards related to Infrastructural and coding best practices, risk and compliance, data access and governance, resiliency and observability, automation and deployment pipelines, and network security before implementing across teams.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Data Engineer (or closely related occupation) designing resilient data infrastructure for 401k recordkeeping platform and delivering ETL solutions in a financial services environment, using Oracle and Azure technologies.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Data Engineer (or closely related occupation) designing resilient data infrastructure for 401k recordkeeping platform and delivering ETL solutions in a financial services environment, using Oracle and Azure technologies.

Salary: $147,000.00 - $166,000.00/year.
