Associate – Technology Due Diligence

We are seeking Associate level candidates to join our growing Strategy & Deals team. This is an ideal opportunity for professionals with a consulting or financial services background who want to develop expertise in technology due diligence, AI, and enterprise technology strategy.
Tenure / Experience Guidance
- Associate: ~1–3 years of direct, relevant experience in consulting, transaction advisory, technology, or financial services.
- Senior Associate: ~ 4yrs+ years of direct, relevant experience in consulting, transaction advisory, technology, or financial services.
- Responsibilities are structured to allow candidates to self-assess their level based on experience, exposure to M&A/PE transactions, and ability to lead workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support buy-side and sell-side technology due diligence engagements for PE investors and corporate clients.
- Identify technology risks and value creation opportunities, contributing to investment decisions, deal structuring, and post-acquisition planning.
- Assess the target’s technology environment — applications, infrastructure, data platforms, cybersecurity, software development, and AI — for scalability, resilience, and operational maturity.
- Analyze technology operating models, costs, and team structures, identifying technical debt, integration risks, and future investment needs.
- Engage with senior technology stakeholders and prepare due diligence deliverables, including red flag summaries and investor-ready insights.
- Interest in emerging topics e.g. AI and LLM opportunities within Asset and Wealth Management and Insurance
Qualifications
- Experience in technology transaction advisory withing a consulting firm. Preferably experience within financial services
- Demonstrated interest or experience in ASSET MANAGEMENT and WEALTH MANAGEMENT, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable with both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex technical findings into clear insights.
- Interest in technology, AI, and financial services; prior exposure to asset or wealth management is a plus.
- 2:1 or equivalent advanced degree/experience is valued but not required.
