What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Federal Civilian Transportation Account, where they will plan, support, and coordinate instructional design, delivery and evaluation with a team within the Department of Transportation. The Senior Consultant will support a team of five on the analysis, design and implementation of learning programs. This role is expected to support the development of key improvements to learning programs and processes and report progress to senior leaders.

What You Will Need:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 (five) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum 2 (two) years of experience in curriculum design and development experience for adult learning programs in corporate, academic, or government settings.
  • Minimum 1 (one) year experience developing soft skills and leadership curriculum (Note: this is not a technical curriculum development position).
  • Experience leading training needs assessments, instructional design, curriculum development, training delivery (both online and in-person), optimization, and measurement/evaluation.
  • Experience serving as an expert on training needs, instructional design, delivery models, and evaluation by analyzing a complex organization, understanding and communicating the training program processes, data availability, deployment, and resources and how these enable the organization to meet its goals.
  • Experience preparing, organizing, and facilitating internal and external stakeholder discussions and client meetings, including scheduling, drafting agendas, documenting, tracking, and following up on action items.
  • Experience managing workstreams and supporting the planning, development, and execution of project tasks/deliverables while ensuring accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely delivery of all products.
  • Experience identifying, proposing, planning, and implementing recommendations; reporting progress to senior leaders.
  • Experience working collaboratively with other team members, project teams, vendors, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications, including MS teams, as well as other platforms such as Zoom, Webex or equivalent to support training delivery.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a Public Trust.
  • This position requires you to be within a commutable distance to the Washington D.C. area and can work out of Arlington, VA or at a client site in the DC Metro area as needed based on project requirements. If located outside of area, must be willing to relocate without financial assistance and within 30 days of receiving an offer letter. 

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Master’s degree in relevant field (Education, Organizational Psychology, Instructional Design, or other behavioral science degree).
  • Experience with curriculum development and eLearning management tools such as: Percipio, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate, Cornerstone, etc.
  • Experience consulting for the federal government.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of business, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and develop successful professional relationships.

The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
