Summary:
As an Infrastructure as Code Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and provisioning infrastructure within a DevOps architecture. Your typical day will involve creating, modifying, and deleting infrastructure using code and APIs, ensuring that the configuration management processes are efficient and effective. You will collaborate with various teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and enhance the overall infrastructure management strategy, contributing to a robust and scalable environment that supports continuous integration and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Monitoring & Observability

Design, deploy, and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, and service health checks in Datadog.
Implement and optimize APM, RUM, logs, synthetics, and infrastructure monitoring.
Integrate Datadog with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem systems.
Analyze and fine-tune system metrics, traces, and logs for improved performance and reliability.

Configuration & Automation

Create automation (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD) for Datadog configuration and agent deployment.
Implement tags, metadata structures, and standardization across environments.
Configure log pipelines, custom metrics, and ingestion rules.

Incident & Problem Management

Troubleshoot monitoring gaps, alert noise, and performance anomalies.
Ensure actionable alerts by maintaining meaningful thresholds and SLIs/SLOs.
Support incident response with deep-dive analysis and root cause identification.

Collaboration & Reporting

Work closely with Infra, DevOps, SRE, Application, and Security teams.
Provide insights and reports to leadership on system health and optimization opportunities.
Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and upskill teams on Datadog usage.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Datadog.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
