Job Summary

The EDI Business Operations Analyst Senior plays a key role in governing and advancing the organization’s electronic data interchange (EDI) roadmap within the Financial Shared Services function, with a primary focus on vendor onboarding and compliance, including Advanced Shipment Notification (856). This role serves as a liaison across Vendors, Procurement, Operations, Finance, and IT, leveraging data driven insights to improve transaction accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across end to end financial and operational processes.

Essential Functions

  • Provide day-to-day operational leadership for the EDI program within Financial Shared Services, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent receipt and processing of vendor transaction data
  • Lead vendor EDI onboarding initiatives, including requirements gathering, coordination with EDI service providers, testing, and production readiness to support scalable and compliant financial operations
  • Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure onboarding success, transaction accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency before and after implementation
  • Develop and deliver regular reporting and analytical insights to Financial Shared Services leadership, highlighting performance trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Partner closely with Finance, Procurement, Operations, IT, and external vendors to resolve onboarding and transaction issues, align on standards, and ensure successful adoption of EDI processes
  • Coordinate and conduct testing activities with stakeholders to proactively identify and resolve issues prior to production deployment, reducing downstream financial and operational disruptions
  • Monitor newly onboarded trading partners post implementation to confirm stable production performance and sustained compliance with EDI requirements
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and digital transformation within Financial Shared Services to enhance vendor enablement and transaction efficiency
  • Comply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assigned

    People Management
  • Accountable for team staffing and managing direct reports to include development, performance management, goal setting, and other managerial duties
  • Ensures direct reports are aware of and follow ethical business practices and Company’s Code of Conduct to maintain a supportive and productive working environment

Job Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 5 years of experience in financial operations, procurement, sourcing, data analytics, shared services, or a closely related business function

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting vendor or trading partner EDI onboarding, compliance programs, or transaction enablement within a finance or shared services environment
     

Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of end‑to‑end vendor transaction flows and their downstream effects on financial operations, including shipment notifications, invoicing, and reconciliation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into actionable recommendations for Financial Shared Services operations
  • Proven project management, organizational, and prioritization skills to manage multiple onboarding initiatives and deliver results within tight timelines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including tools such as Power Query, macros, and VBA, to support reporting, analysis, and performance monitoring
  • Ability to work autonomously under general supervision, exercising sound judgment, accountability, and discretion in achieving objectives with broad operational impact
  • Strong collaboration skills with a focus on fostering alignment, accountability, and continuous improvement across Financial Shared Services and partner teams

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount could exceed this range, based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills.

$85,500.00 - $113,966.67
