Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for a Manager Supply Chain Programs 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Global Supply Chain Program Management organization. This position will support the Development programs inside the Maritime Electronic & Information Warfare (MEIW) OU. This leadership position will be located onsite in Baltimore, MD as a full-time onsite employee.

What you get to do:

Responsible for all phases of the supply chain effort from the initiation of the supplier strategy and proposal phase through negotiation, award, and management of supplier activities to meet program objectives.

Acts as the main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers.

Leads team responsible for the cost, schedule, and performance of suppliers within the operating unit.

Develops the material strategy and leads the activities for GSC in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP) including developing accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategies.

Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives, including forecasting and coordination of material receipts and key events.

Coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain initiatives.

Develops and implements long-term supply chain strategies; some examples include capacity constraints, production location decisions, diminishing supply of materials (DMS), supplier second sourcing efforts, lead time reduction initiatives, new product launches, and long-term supplier agreements.

Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop employees while fostering a high-performance team culture.

Working in fast-paced, dynamic program and supplier environments, with a track record of risk mitigation and issue resolution.

Quickly assess and address supply chain disruptions, ensuring minimal impact on program performance.

Basic Qualifications for the Manager Supply Chain Programs 2:

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of supply chain or business management example; will consider a minimum of 15 years of supply chain or business management experience with a HS diploma (or equivalent).

• Experience leading teams or managing personnel in a supply chain, operations, or business management environment.

• Experience in forecasting material costs, supply chain risk management, and implementing make/buy strategies.

• Experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) concepts and their application in supply chain management, to include (SAP, ERP, EVM).

• The ability to obtain a DOD Secret security clearance.

• U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications for the Manager Supply Chain Programs 2:

• CAM experience

• Experience in large electronics production and/or sustainment programs.

• Experience of Federal and Defense contracting requirements, including ITAR and FAR.

• Experience with developing complex agreements such as long-term agreements, teaming agreements, strategic alliances, MOAs, overriding Terms and Conditions, claims, and settlements.

• Experience managing complex supplier specifications, drawings, SOWs, and supplier issue resolution.

• Active secret security clearance.

Primary Level Salary Range: $135,800.00 - $203,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
