The US Prostate Cancer Business is one of the largest and fastest growing businesses within Pfizer Oncology. The portfolio includes thress in-line brands (ORGOVYX, XTANDI, and TALZENNA).

ORGOVYX is a treatment for men with advanced prostate cancer that received FDA approval in Dec 2020 and launched in early 2021 with our co-promote partner, Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. ORGOVYX is a key growth driver for the Prostate Cancer Portfolio as it continues to deliver double digit growth in year 4 of its lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a fast-paced, co-promote with a high performing team and to support patients with advanced prostate cancer.

The HCP Lead will serve a critical lead role for the team and be responsible for leading HCP strategy and advancing key HCP marketing initiatives. It requires strong strategic thinking, a proven track record of success, and ability to work with and engage multiple stakeholders.

The role will report to the US Team Lead for Orgovyx.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead development of the overall HCP strategy, including campaign development and message evolution
  • Lead cross-functional team (including Medical, HEOR, GPD and others) to develop Real World Data (RWD) strategy and promotional plan
  • Lead field-based activities, including development of promotional materials and targeting strategy
  • Partner and align with Sales leadership to develop plan for National Sales Meetings, incorporate field insights into strategy and execution, and lead FBST
  • Support operating plan and LRF; lead HCP strategic plan and tactical plan
  • Full HCP budget oversight, including driving appropriate investment across HCP channels, escalating needs for budget re-allocation and/or investment, and preparing for resource allocation decisions
  • Continuously measure the impact of marketing initiatives, generating early learning, and driving continuous improvement to achieve budget
  • Identify and track overall performance and KPIs for key tactics to identify areas for improvement and optimization
  • Identify strategic customer insights through collaboration with medical, market analytics, field force and prescribers and translate into actionable strategies
  • Maximize portfolio approach across PC franchise
  • Represent Pfizer on key alliance workstreams
  • Lead and mentor others; Hold self and team accountable for deliverables and positive performance while fostering positive culture

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience required, or Master's degree and 9+ years of experience, or Ph.D./PharmD and 7+ years of experience required
  • Previous in-line US marketing direct experience with focus on HCP stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of US market dynamics
  • Proven track record of synthesizing complex information & distilling critical customer insights
  • Demonstrated ability to execute complex marketing programs that drive performance
  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate with experts from cross functional areas
  • Strong influence skills and ability to mobilize and lead key stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen with excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior management
  • Clearly articulates business direction and priorities
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovative idea development
  • Detail and action oriented; strong analytical skills

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Expected domestic travel up to 20%
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed for congresses, sales meetings and customer engagements


Work Location Assignment: Hybrid

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $161,600.00 to $269,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
