Job Description

U.S. Bank is actively seeking a Senior IT Leader to head our Macintosh team within the Employee Technology Experience organization. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and computing platforms, capable of overseeing the daily functions of our Macintosh fleet across a multifaceted, multi-platform landscape.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, supporting, and maintaining all IT activities, ensuring seamless operation. They will lead a dedicated team, providing clear direction to align with departmental and company objectives. The Senior IT Leader will embody the skills, behaviors, and attitudes that resonate with our strategic goals and organizational values.

A strong sense of urgency and a commitment to improving our Mac user experience are essential. We are looking for a leader with a proven ability to navigate through transformational changes, fostering team growth and innovation in a dynamic environment. Maintaining security and conducting rigorous testing of changes will be a critical part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Simplify the user experience on Mac computers at U.S. Bank
  • Partner with product managers and other stakeholders within the Technology organization including security and network teams.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the Macintosh fleet.
  • Lead a team of IT professionals, ensuring high performance and alignment with Employee Technology Experience team goals.
  • Drive transformational changes within the team, promoting agility and innovation.
  • Uphold stringent security measures and conduct thorough testing of all IT changes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in IT operations and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through significant transformations.
  • Strong commitment to operational excellence.
  • Experience in maintaining high security and rigorous testing protocols.
  • Grit and perseverance
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 10 years' experience with a computing environment, day-to-day operational requirements, and the operation of production systems and equipment.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Mac OS and Jamf management platforms
  • Service Now workflows and request modules.
  • Product Management mindset

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $129,455.00 - $152,300.00 - $167,530.00
