Job Description

Interns join a mission where they learn more about how we’ve become one of the most trusted nonprofits brands in the industry. 

ALSAC’s Program offers an immersive experience where interns experience our culture, contribute to organization’s goals through projects, and build relationships with team members and senior leadership. Interns are assigned to a day-to-day manager where they are with provided meaningful assignments. Interns will truly understand what it's like to be a part of the ALSAC/St.Jude. ALSAC/St.Jude was selected as the 100 best internship programs in the U.S. in 2022 by WayUp and Yello.

  • Start Date: October 11, 2024

  • Hours: 20 hours a week (Monday-Friday) 

  • Pay Rate: Based on work location 

  • Work Location: Headquarters Office in Memphis, TN

Requirements:

  • A passion for our mission! 

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.

  • Must be comfortable with Zoom and Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Power Point. 

  • Ability to work in a team environment but also work strong independently. 

  • Ability to be organized and detailed to balance several projects simultaneously. 

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality. 

  • Must be 18 years of age or older. 

Specific Internship Description and Preferred Skills:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Recruitment Marketing Intern to join our team. This role will focus on assisting with the creation and implementation of a Collegiate Ambassador Recruitment Program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, recruitment, and building relationships with college students and universities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Assist in designing and developing the Collegiate Ambassador Recruitment Program, including defining goals, strategies, and metrics for success.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Create and execute marketing campaigns to attract and engage potential collegiate ambassadors through various channels (social media, email, campus events, etc.).
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content for promotional materials, social media posts, and email campaigns to promote the program.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with college students, university career centers, and relevant student organizations.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating recruitment events, webinars, and information sessions on college campuses.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of recruitment marketing efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Recruitment Marketing team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining databases.

Preferred Majors:

Marketing, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in marketing, recruitment, or event planning is a plus
