About the Role

The position is responsible for overall accountability over modelling related work.

Modeling - 80%

• Plan and work efficiently to ensure timely completion of Promise model development.
• Work closely with basis teams on model enhancement and provide timely progress update of the deliverables, including escalation of potential obstacles to supervisors.
• Perform modelling tasks and analysis according to guidelines accurately, timely and independently.
• Ensure each model development is properly documented with audit trails.
• Continuously seek opportunities to challenge the model designs, controls, constraints and coding efficiency and to embed the thinking on long term-maintenance.
• Communicate and explain the findings and result to supervisors and various stakeholder with simple language.
• Assist in ad-hoc requests related to model enhancements.

Process Review and Implementation - 20%

• Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and participate in cross function projects such as actuarial reporting and task force.
