Systems Analyst Senior Advisor
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of the following PulsePoint location. 9133 W Russell Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89148
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
The Systems Analyst Senior Advisor will own the technical analysis, design, and delivery oversight for new product requirements spanning numerous Pega applications.
How you will make an impact:
• Review and analyze data from various data sources to draw conclusions, recommend solutions, and draft technical user stories.
• Define the functional, usability, reliability, performance, and support requirements of a system
• Partner with business, architecture, and infrastructure, and oversee all service levels to ensure business area satisfaction.
• Manage integrated functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and support requirements of a system.
• Triage production issues as required.
• Analyze SOAP/REST APIs.
• Understand how to triage using tools similar to SOAP UI.
• Understand how to analyze service calls to identify existing services that could be used to meet new needs.
• Understand how to define and document specifications and queries for new APIs to satisfy business needs.
• Analyze SQL/Oracle databases.
• Understand and decipher data models for SQL/Oracle dbs.
• Query databases to triage issues, identify test data, and support analysis process.
• Define specifications for new queries that will be embedded in the applications and used to consume data from disparate data sources.
• Work closely with Product Owners and Business Stakeholders to understand business needs and translate those to user stories for execution and delivery in a SAFe Agile environment.
• Proactively work with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements.
• Provide links between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business.
• Own end-to-end delivery of project stories from an IT perspective.
• Work closely with developers and testers (Scrum team) to ensure a proper understanding of application designs and user stories.
• Collaborate with the Lead System Architect to design solutions and ensure that solutions are implemented appropriately.
• Create and coordinate feature test strategies.
• Guide and support developers and testers as the team executes the stories defined by the Product Owner.
• Participate in and lead Agile Teams including use of JIRA and Confluence tools.
• Responsible for understanding the delivery practices of SAFe Agile Scrum and Kanban teams to guide the teams as a role model through ceremonies.
• Ensure high level designs and user stories are appropriately documented (including BPMN/UML diagrams) in tools such as Agile Craft, JIRA and Confluence.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Eight (8) years of experience in related occupation(s).
Additional Requirements:
Eight (8) years of experience must include:
• Five (5) years of experience analyzing data from source systems to draw conclusions, recommend solutions, and draft technical user stories for applications built on PEGA with CRM and Health Care Platforms.
• Five (5) years of experience partnering with business, architecture, and infrastructure teams to oversee all service levels agreements and create Master Service Level Agreement (SLA) documentation.
• Four (4) years of experience overseeing high-level designs and user story documentation, including Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN) and Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams in tools including JIRA and Confluence.
• Four (4) years of experience working as the Subject Matter Expert to coach and mentor the development and Scrum Teams with the business processes.
• Three (3) years of experience working with API design teams to come up with data structures and accepted data formatting by reviewing swaggers using tools including NotePad++.
• Three (3) years of experience in database querying to triage issues, identify test data, and support analytical processes.
• Three (3) years of experience defining specifications for new queries to be embedded in applications.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location, the salary* range for this specific position is $141,618 to $142,618.
