Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Principle Industrial Security Analyst, to join our Multi Domain Operations security team. This position will be based in Linthicum, MD location. In this job, you will:

• Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.

• Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.

• Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.

• Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.

• Conducts security education classes and security audits.

• Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken. 

• Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform complex tasks independently without appreciable direction.

• Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment. 

• Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings. 

• Develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.

• Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3 years of professional experience

• Will consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree

• Must have in-depth knowledge with the CFR 32 part 117 (NISPOM); Joint Air Force, Army and Navy (JAFAN), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD); DoD Manuals, and other related security requirements

• Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) approval as needed within a reasonable period of time

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active SCI & SAP access

• Current Polygraph

• Demonstrated organizational skills.

• Working knowledge of Northrop Grumman and Government systems (ESIS, DISS, JADE).

Primary Level Salary Range: $89,900.00 - $134,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
