What you will do
Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior SAP Data & Analytics Analyst with a strong background in manufacturing environments. This role is critical in enabling data-driven decision-making across supply chain, production, and operations by leveraging SAP’s advanced analytics and data integration platforms.

 

How you will do it

Architect and implement scalable data models using SAP BW/4HANA, native HANA modeling, and SAP SLT to support manufacturing KPIs and reporting needs.

Lead data migration and integration projects using SAP BODS, ensuring high data quality and consistency across systems.

Develop insightful dashboards and reports using SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and Power BI to support production planning, inventory management, and quality control.

Collaborate with SAP S/4HANA functional teams (e.g., MM, PP, SD, QM) to align data models with business processes.

Utilize SAP Business Data Cloud to support advanced analytics and cross-system data harmonization.

Drive data governance and master data management initiatives to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, translating manufacturing challenges into data solutions.

 

What you will need
Required

5+ years of experience in SAP data and analytics, with a strong focus on manufacturing processes.
Expertise in:

SAP BW/4HANA, SAP SLT, BW Modeling
Native HANA Modeling
SAP BODS for ETL and data migration
SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power BI
SAP Business Data Cloud
SAP S/4HANA functional knowledge (especially in manufacturing modules)

Strong understanding of manufacturing data domains such as BOMs, routings, production orders, and quality metrics.
 

 

Preferred

SAP certifications in BW/4HANA, SAC, or related areas.
Experience with cloud-based data architectures and hybrid deployments.

Familiarity with Agile project delivery in manufacturing settings.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $90,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
